‘When We Were Young’ music festival canceled Saturday due to high winds
The music festival “When We Were Young” was canceled Saturday due to high winds, according to a statement on the festival’s website, and it has been postponed until June 4.
The festival was planned for a short weekend in June in Orlando, Fla., but winds were forecast to hit 60 miles per hour at the festival, said the statement on the website.

“We regret the inconvenience, disruption the weather situation has caused and hope to create something special and new for everyone by doing it in June,” the statement said. “That being said, we know that there are some bands that do not have set times and it will not be possible to get them to all the venues we wanted to get them to.”
The statement doesn’t indicate that any other events at the festival will be canceled, but they may not be able to get any events at all, according to the statement.
For example, the statement says that “we are hoping that the shows that we had hoped to have there will still be able to go on.”
